Here lately i have been having major issues with motivation. I mean I love training, but Ihave just been so busy with my son graduating, thinking of a job change, my better half starting a new job, my youngest son being to much like me, and just loads of other shit that there just hasn't been much time for anything else. I'm still tryn to get to the gym as much as possible, but my focus just hasn't been there. It's funny how there is just some things that you can't get your mind off of even when you are really tryn to focus. Just glad all this stress will be all over soon. Some big and very good changes are comming for me and my family. Been a long time comming....
 
I don't think there is anything wrong with the way you feel, it's life bro. Just don't let it consume you and let it change the person you are.

I tend to think to much and I shouldnt because im really not smart.

Yea bro, it sucks, but it happens. It's probably for the best too, it's not good to train when you're not into it 100%, that's how you get hurt
 
Just part of the ups and downs that we go thru w/everything. Speaking for myself, I cant always be "UP" for all my workouts.
Sometimes I have to miss workouts (I have two teenager's too) and when I have time I have to drag myself to the gym.
I just keep pluging thru those 'low intensity' periods, dont beat myself up about it because I realize my family comes first.
I have had these low intensity periods for up to a couple months then It starts feeling good again. The intensity starts picking
up and it is a "high" again. For me I think it is a easy transition because I kept plugging along during that low time.
 
I'm going through the same thing man! I'm too tired to train due to the new baby and when I don't train it's really hard for me to eat right. I'm calling this little lapse in training a "much needed break." just hope it doesn't last much longer!! Hope things get a little easier with u soon buddy !!
 
Oh it's all good my friends. Like you all know, it's life. As soon as my son graduates and all this other shit mellows out things will actually be better than before. New jobs, new beggings. All up from here everyone. I've actually figured out a way to use this as a new tool for motivation. I've made way to many gains this off season not to keep plugging away. When I step on stage this time around no one or nothing will keep me from winning the whole fckn thing!!!!! Time to show everyone what This man is capable of.
 
Im in the same funk myself...I have been having a hard time with just eating right...I mean, im just eating crap food, ice cream, cereal, fried stuff...I mean I eating my protein, but after that its just whatever I want. i just try to get in my 50-60 grams of protein, and then my carbs and fats come from whatever...But gonig to work, and training have been hard to...I mean once im in the gym im good to go. But just to get motavated is hard sometimes...
 
I'll be honest with you guys and I may sound like a fruitcake, but I really try to look at things like this as a bit of Devine intervention. Who knows if that day you missed you would've been plowed over by a Semi?? Perhaps you would've torn something?? Maybe that time with the family strengthened the most important bond we have in this world. Bodybuilding has its place for sure, but YOU always come first and I like the idea that I may not like, understand, or even know the reason for things, but maybe there is one.
