Who has gone to college and is actually using the degree they paid for after graduation. Seems lots a people I know go get some degree and then sell fishing tackel at walmart or something. Just curious who's a brainiac here..

Most degree's are worthless. The ones really worth anything no one gets because nobody wants to do the work, like Probability and Statistics or MAth and Science. People pick really easy stupid shit like Business or Art then wind up at Walmart.

Lol no brainiac here and i think unless ur studying something very specific your degree is just a big debt! Even with that being said my daughter doesn't have a choice as she is going to go to college and hopefully picks something good and hireable

I'm in IT...no degree and to be honest I feel they are not worth the money and time invested. I make a really good living now and don't think I'd be doing any better if I had one. Although sometimes specific companies may look for education, but for the most part you can substitute real world experience.

I do not have a degree, yet my wife, her brother, and both her parents all have degree's. Her Brother and Father both having Master's degrees and I make more than all of them. Their best year and my worst year I still make more than them.

I am a self educated hard working person with common sense who can read and problem solve. Goes a long way, way longer than a piece of paper. I will hire a person with no degree and critical thinking skills over a person with a degree any day.

Degree's for the most part are worthless, cost to much and the return on investment is not worth it.

My mother had to get out of school because of my brother and I. She never went back. Has made 160k a year last 3 years.

I was a double major, one in education and one in kines. I use both of my degrees, one for teaching and the other for my personal training business.i have no PT cert buying do have a degree in a related field so my clients that do ask about my qualifications except that. I've been telling a lot of young people I know they should go into plumbing or electrical work. Some sort of skilled job. Hell upside my AC guy $300 doran hours worth of work! Very few young adults are going into those types of jobs these days!
