Coming off after 5 month cycle, need to clean receptors, is HRT recommended?

Been on Prop/Tren for 3 months, then switched to Prop/EQ for 2 months. Had good gains and am leaning out but seemed to have hit a wall now. I know the old saying, time on equals time off but being off until July will negate some of the progress.

So does doing HRT on very low dosages (in my case the Prop again) counterproductive to cleaning out receptors? Do most agree w/the 6 wk minimum off?

Took last shot yesterday and will start clomid in a few days then add when my HCG comes in, hopefully in a week.

I know everyone is different but my aim is to compete this yr....so do I bridge w/low dosages, stay competly off for at least 6 wks or stay off for 5 months?

Thanks
PS ALso am taking 2.5 IU's GH too if that matters

I think you meant to say bridging, which is perfectly acceptable....
When is your show?
When does prep start?
I see you are 52-just curious where you on HRT before you went on.

You see I'm doing a dry run for a show, I'm fine except my abs are really bad but am lean everywhere else. I haven;t competed since 1990 and am attempting comeback. So no show date yet, but I am "preppiing" by doing cardio 4 times/wk and following strict diet w/gear.

My age, ahem, and my HRT well never really had formally checked out. I drugged from 1983-1990 on a regualr basis. Then took 14 yrs off (really cleaned receptors good LOL), then started again in 2004 and have been fairly regualr since.

But doesn't bridging NOT clean out the receptors as well as not bridging? Is one the lesser of 2 evils? I'd rather bite the bullet and clean up then dick around and not be all the way clean. I have to lighten up the load for about 5 or 6 wks anyway due to my work schedule.

Thanks again for your response

To be honest, rule of thumb for most it is recommended to come off and let your receptors normalize the same amount of time you were on.
Now---- you are on a different track here- even competing I have never come off completely and I have been supplementing since 1988.
So if you are doing a dry run for a show- which is a great idea, your supplementation should match what you would be doing if you were actually prepping for it. If you decide that after all of this that it is not for you- no harm no foul, just go back to normal and follow the standard recommend rule of thumb.
About the HRT- I am 46 and I will tell you that you should get your test levels checked. As mentioned above, I have been supplementing since 1988 and I always knew my levels were low- i finally got them checked- test levels were 90 for me- that is insanely low- so I am in the process of officially being on HRT through a doc that was actually a competitor and gets it rather than relying on textbook info which for the most part does not apply to us. I would put that on your to do list.
I will also tell you that you will probably have to up your cardio as well- if you are going to do it, do it the right way and put both feet in.
Keep us posted with your progress- there are a lot of members here that have real life info to share and help.

I need to post some pics of my abs as they are my hold up right now. Should I get my HRT levels checked after being off for how long? Your saying to bridge? And dont worry about receptors?

Cardio, I do 45-60 minutes outside at least 4 times/wk. Should I go to 6 times for at least hour? Then I know some that say cardio is not needed and that great abs are made in the kitchen not the gym

The amount of cardio will depend on what you see in the mirror- if you want to post ab pics- even better- there are a lot of prep members on here that will give you honest feedback- I appreciate very much that they do.
For me cardio and diet are essential for any body fat loss- supplementation is icing on the cake.
I would say that get your levels checked after you complete your prep.
My two cents- assuming you are moving to prep mode, you bridge until you are ready for the next part of the supplementation cycle. I think going off and getting back on will cause your levels to be uneven- near empty gas tank before you refill your gas tank.
Not where you want to be if you are prepping for a show- dry run or not.

That sounds like a lot of cardio. My personal opinion is that abs are made in the kitchen and the cardio will help with fine tuning. I would look at the diet first and get that honed in if you are looking to drop bf.

The diet is going to be the biggest factor in dropping fat, but you still have to do cardio. Think of it as a huge equation, you have the components, now you have to find the correct numbers to get it all to even out
