So we are heading towards an end of the year Fiscal Cliff, and what does Congress want to do you might ask? They want to get involved with overseeing HGH Testing in the NFL! LMAO

How ass backwards is this fucking country!?!?!?!?!!!

Yes lets put our hard earned tax dollars towards this, lol. Its fucking mind boggling!

It's obvious that most players in the NFL are on something, but who cares? What's the big problem? And why is this an issue for Congress? Especially given all the other problems facing the country right now.

so that way the press can talk about stupid shit like this and not focus on the important matters:gold:

same thing that happened with football

Thousands without electricity or power after the recent storm...check.

World War III possibility with the Middle East meltdown...check.

Cutting educational funding for schools...check.

Looming Fiscal Cliff and economic Crisis...check.

50 states looking for seccession...check.

...oh wait the NFL has not tested their athletes for Human Growth Hormone. Lets get on that, now we have a problem that is undeniably a priority says the US govt.

Is it politically inappropriate to say that our Country is seriously retarded??

The House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform will convene a hearing next week to examine the science behind HGH testing and the health concerns surrounding its use, according to a government source.
The hearing will feature experts and individuals concerned about the dangers of performance-enhancing substances. The NFL Players Association has cited the inadequacy of HGH testing as a reason for holding up implementation of a testing regime in the NFL. The hearing will seek opinions on the subject.
The NFLPA believes the science behind current HGH testing is not up to snuff.
The hearing will be led by Rep. Darrell Issa of California and Rep. Elijah Cummings of Maryland, both of whom have worked with the NFL and NFLPA on the issue of HGH testing. The two have expressed concern that an HGH-testing regime, which is part of the collective bargaining agreement agreed to in 2011, has not yet been implemented.
Among the witnesses expected to be called, according to the source, are Pro Football Hall of Fame linebacker Dick Butkus, who heads Play Clean, an organization that educates high school athletes on the dangers of performance-enhancing substances; Travis Tygart, executive director of the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency (USADA); and Francis Collins, director of the National Institutes of Health.
The hearing is being held because the committee is upset with the union's refusal to allow the testing, the source said. This hearing is the committee's next step in forcing HGH testing. The hearing will establish that scientists say the test is valid and there is no reason for it not to be used in the NFL.

No one can be that useless and not be on something. Really, c'mon, they get as much shit accomplished as Jeff Spicoli.

my new facebook status post/update

sidenote, saw Obama a couple weeks ago in some small country giving a speach that the US is going to have a
major involvment in fixing their economy. Wow, their screwed! LOL (and with the state of our economy he has
some big balls saying that)

I hate to go back to the whole "voting" issue with this, but this is the thing, not one of us actually has a voice in how our Government spends our tax money.

We really have no say in anything that happens, unless you actually create and enact a law in this Country it is all politically motivated.

This is why I didn't vote, I won't play the game. What's going to happen, is going to happen whether you or I like it or not.

Maybe Haliburton has the Contract for NFL drug testing?? I'm sure it's something like that..... What's saddest is that a large portion of our Nation is pacified with this bullshit...what Britney Spears is doing, why Lindsey Lohan was arrested this week, what drug Charlie Sheen is doing...meanwhile the ship is on the way down.

i dont see how congress can get involved in a private business entity i mean they have no involvement in the NFL at all, so how can they even question anythign about it.

ehh, gives them something to do-do what they do best waste tax payers money

get people talking about stupid shit instead of important shit-like where the fuck is all our tax money going

it's all a scam

LOL @ Presser :) it's the principle!! I didn't like either candidate and didn't want either of them to win...it was a lose lose for me, and I didn't find one to be better then the other. 12 million less people voted this year. I am of the belief that our system is pre-determined, as it is you are forced to choose Republican or Democrat (it is a forced 2 party system, they say Independent exists, well where were they during the debates??)

...why vote if I am neither??

Just like in this case, does the general population really think we should be concerned about cheating in sports, or spending our money the way the gov't does?? Sure you can't make everyone happy all the time, but in our system, only the 2% extremely wealthy are. No one else is content with the way things are being run.

You should have voted Libertarian then. They are for personal drug use as long as you are not hurting anyone. AAS would be legal with Libertarians.
