Do you guys actively select and try to get new members to join?

I'm pretty selective as to who I invite to my sanctuary. Lately (today I invited 2 guys and a figure competitor). The stigma associated with bodybuilding sites and getting busted is outrageous. Obviously that's a huge hurdle to overcome, yet these guys go and get their stuff (not through me) and take a huge risk. I don't want to be too pushy but I think these guys would be a great addition and the site could help them tremendously. I feel a little awkward now. I feel as though I'm giving them a gift and I end up feeling awkward. They're going with me so they'll be reppin the site, the girl is doing Figure and I think she'll do well. I really wish some other members were there to help me break the ice.

I would feel funny inviting people if it were a steroid site we have here but if u take a look at the threads theirs maybe 1 in 50 threads about juice here. I consider this site more of a health fitness and bodybuilding site. And even more then that it's an entertainment site and funny as hell as well

I don't think I've told anyone about the site yet. I just don't have many people I talk to about lifting. I'm going to start wearing the MC shirt to the gym more though and maybe someone will ask.

A friend invited me here . Truthfully blown away by his knowledge of the sport ..... So much useful info .. Going to make a huge difference in my training ..

Yeah me to bro, way back in the mid 90's there were just a few sites like this and I did alot of stupid shit. So we started MuscleChemistry.com in 1999 to help bodybuilders.

In all honesty, the people around here are idiots and I don't think they'd contribute much, but I wear my MC shirt so if they join they join from that, not by talking to me. Nobody has really asked about it other than a couple people
