Just curious how many of you are open with your doctor about your AAS use. I've heard different stories about telling your doc, especially regarding insurance if they inform your insurance company about it, that it can make it more difficult to get coverage. Do any of you get blood work done regularly? I haven't been to a doctor in over a decade, but I just wanted to know how some bros handle things. I was also considering gyno surgery to remove some lumps that I have maybe later on down the road if it gets too bad, and am curious how you go about talking to a doctor about that. You know if a doctor sees any gyno symptoms and I walk into his office at 5'8" and 230 lbs, he's gonna raise his brow.lol Mainly, I just don't want to get into any trouble with insurance or the law.

i haven't, and never will, tell my dr. anything about my AAS use. It will only cause problems unless you run into one of the handful of "cool" doctors. All you will get a lecture at the minimum, and much worse at the max.
as for gyno, big freaking deal. Tons of men have gyno....skinny guys, fat guys, all races and ethnicities....the only difference between you and them is that you take care of yourself. Not your fault youre swole and just happen to have gyno. I got it too (from adolescence, not gear), fucking sucks.

My doctor knows about my use. He used when he was younger. He is really cool about it and has never put it in my chart records. Even told me about one of his cycles. He has been my doctor sense I was 6. Really good guy.

Where do you think I get my gear! Lol! Just kidding! I wish! I told my doc and got the lecture from him but at least he knew whats up if I ever had any problems.

hell no unless I'm going to die. lol. For regular appointments and stuff no way. Too many problems with insurance, the doctor, etc. My regular doctor is a dick anyways.

Damn, you are lucky Harvman. Why can't I have a cool doctor, too!

I've never told any of my current Docs about anything but years ago I told my Doctor about using when I was in college. He said it was no big deal and that side-effects were a lot of hype and that there were no long term side effects from a cycle from 5 or 6 years ago. He was so cool and open about it I wish I could find that Doctor now!

My doctor(s) know I'm on HRT, but that's it. I can blame any other side effect on that if I have to. Unless I can find a really cool doc, I'm not saying a word about anything else.

i still havent. But i want some blood work done before my next cycle, so i think its time to come clean. I think he knows, cause i went in for tearing my hamstring, and he said i should have my prostate checked early..... either that, or he's gay.

i havent told my doc anything but i havent had any problems. hes a friend of the familys i know that he can get in trouble by telling about it but im still scared he will rat me to my rents or something. He has to know a bit just because i get my bloodwork done at least every 4 months and he keeps telling me its not necessary i just tell him its better safe then sorry lol.

You don't have to tell your doctor why you want a full panel blood test. You can just ask for one for preventative care visit or you can make up another reason to get one. Like you think you have liver problems + herpes or genital warts. lol. If your doctor knows you like we do he wouldn't question the testing. haha.
