Anyone ever heard of bigback grips? I work out in a college gym that doesn't even allow u to grunt much less use chalk so these we're perfect for me when i stopped using gloves...and they're only 5 bucks lol :D
 
To the people talking about grunting , if its something that you have to do to do your lifts , and not just a grunt to grunt.

I would tell the people to mind their own business you do so and so weight for so and so reps and correct form and see is necessary for me to get the most out of my workout.

Then flip them off before sticking my whole arm up their ass and ripping out their liver.
 
lol U shud give em a try bro...i was a bit skeptic on em but they work pretty nicely especially on some lifts when i use the thumbless grip.....
 
I feel that If my hand grip is holding me back on some lifts ie deads pull ups rows. Ill take a couple weeks to incorporate some grip strength training that helped me more then any straps or chalk ever did. I use heavy grips.
 
Body I might be hitting you up for some strength coaching sometime man I wanna look good but my main goals are strength so I think I could learn from ya. Ive never used chalk because it has never been available for us to use. I havent ever liked using straps either for that matter hehe.
 
It's used just to absorb any oils that could make the bar slippery. My gym used to have it available before it was bought out by 24 hr.
 
naww no chalk here when i used to powerlift i did but not anymore. Straps if im going too heavy now my grip is good enough right now lol.
