You guys use any of the bronzer stuff that smells like a fuckin coconut tree when you tan? Ive never used it much does it really help you get darker and faster? Any advice on what kind to get or where to get it? They dont sell any at my gym and i have no idea if the shit even helps.

I always thought you could get it at tanning salons or online. Never touched it myself.

I've used them and they work great but the bronzers come off on your sheets at night when sweating. The accelerators don't have any bronzers in them so I stick to those if I use anything

yea they work you might see a little differnce but its not going to make you 10x darker. its good for your skin also bc it has moisturizers and vitamins for the face. i pay around 3 bucks for a packet that lasts me a while since i just put it on my face

thanks guys where do you get yours at the salon or online?

I've only ever got mine at the salon. Taco Bell Fire sauce packets work well though too.

The kind I use isn't specifically for indoor tanning but I haven't had any problems with it. I found out about it when I went to Hawaii, used it there and loved it. It's called Maui Babe. It gives me a very nice color and it's all natural. I currently use the browning lotion, but they other options too.

The only place I know to get it is online.

they have em next to the cashier in the tanning salons atleast to all that ive been to even my gym has em up for sale

I used to use the hemp lotion from Anytime Fitness, and it worked pretty sweet. Otherwise, my skin is oily enough that I really don't need it.

I use Suave moisterizer and instead spend my money on Melanotan. Dark as hell in 20 days. I've yet to see a lotion do that. Its $40 for a bottle.

Yeah i was gonna go with some MTII as well but after reading somebody said something about going into anaphylaxis shock if you didnt take an antihistamine or something so it scared me off.

Anaphylactic shock is the technical name for an alergic reaction. It goes without saying that you take that chance by trying anything for the first time. You also take that chance EVERYTIME you eat shellfish or peanuts as an allergy to either of these can manifest itself at any time. The stuff rocks. Anyone who is spouting off about the chances shouldn't be on this board. You have much better chances of getting an injection infection, cancer, and alchohol poisoning at the same time as you do of having a severe allergic reaction to MTII.

I second that motion!!

I don't normally use the lotion. Talking to the guy who owned a place I used to go to next to my old gym, the lotion mainly is for hydration of your skin. He said that hydrated skin will absorb the UVs up to 10x better than dry skin, giving you a deeper, darker tan. He said if 2 people have the same skin, and they both tan the same amount, one using lotion and one not, the one with lotion will get darker faster, just to having healthier skin.

I use tanning lotion everytime. I think it helps to an extent... though now I've been using it for so long now that I can't think of not using it. If it works for you not to use it, then save your money.

Thanks for clearing that up, I didnt know if they were talking just an allergic reaction or if it builds up to where you could get that or something. Makes sense how you explained it though. My look into it again.

I don't use tanning bed lotions if I do go tan, they usually break me out. My skin is oily anyway, so I want it to dry me out, and then I use Cetaphil which is just a basic non-comodogenic(sp?) lotion, meaning it doesn't clog pores. Good to keep the skin moisturized and maintain your tan longer. I use melanotan II mostly though.
