I can tell you that convenience stores in La. have had all the ephedrine they had jerked from shelves. You used to could buy it with your driver's license and some aggravation like signing a book and ony a certain amount. I was told they are going to illegalize it nationwide eventually. That is what the store manager said but who knows if he was right or not.
