I made a trip to the grocery store last night just to get some fuji apples. The ones i got were 3/4 red and the rest yellow/green. Maybe they wrrent ripe, but i agree they were very tasty. I cut them up, and put peanut butter on them, i love it! Now ive got to make another trip to the store to see what all this "honey crust" .....i mean honey crisp stuff is about.
Yeah Washington sends their cull apples eastward.. Yellow not enough sun so no red tan.. Did it have moss on it? But in all fairness the honeycrip was invented in Minnesota .. Lol..

Lol.. It's called forced connessiour due to working in apple orchards from age 14-18.and what I loved about it . I got out if skool mid oct for 2 weeks for apple harvest to help the local farmers. Lol.. Ever seen a 14yr old on a tractor haulin a bin of apples with a budweiser handed to him by an illegal Mexican? Lol.. Great times.

Lol.. What's funny is they used to stop there in calif and pick oranges then head up.. But all that's changed of course.. But the sad thing is now the farmers have no one to pick cause the local people would rather be on welfare and the kids are lazy so lots of apples rot on the trees last couple years due to packaging cost.. Last year they even brought in inmates from a prison to fricken pick..lol.. Now that was cost effective for the county! Lol.. Armed cops on each row so they don't split..It was 9$ a bin which is 2500 apples now you get 18$ a bin. Took me 3-4 hours per bin so I was put on the tractor .

Whats a "cull" apple?
Apples are rated by size, shape, color, and skin texture..as in no dents from hail, scabs from bugs etc .. Cull is the lowest and they usually end up at the juicer.

Honey crust apples jams which is liked by everybody.It can be used especially at the time of breakfast.Honey also much powerful in all respect even to give the stamina in the body muscles just to make it hard and strong with the continuous use of it.
