Today was leg day for me and I hit two personal bests which I am very happy about. I was able to squat 415 for 3 reps for the first time ever and on the leg press I hit 1195 for 4 reps. I feel very accomplished with my lifting and look forward to growing and increasing strength. Three days ago I also hit my old record on the bench with 365 which I lost after a bad semester last year but now bounced back. My dead is stuck at 405, hopefully I can get that up within the next month or so. :D

Nice #'s. Keep pushing. Deads are tough to bust through a plataue. Try rack deads for a while to strengthen the upper part of the lift...

Great #'s bro! And you said you were 21? Very impressive. I love those "personal best" days...makes everything worthwhile.

yea bro im 21, and thank you it does feel great when you hit those personal bests, I love this sport and everything about it and to hit those bests to me feels amazing. I love pretty much everyday i hit the gym but those are the best and you feel the most accomplished. I just need to work on my deads, Ive been stuck at 405 for about 2 months now. I'm Going to try doing rack deads the next 2 or 3 times like kdog said to see if i can break through that weak point.

Good lifts. I wish my gym had a leg press that would fit more than 1100 (or different plates) - it is a great exercise and the numbers made me feel like I was really lifting. I just do the squat now, which is hard on the back - especially for someone twice as old as you are.

I found good luck with deads when I isolated the weakest part of my lift. For me it was working to strengthen my grip. It allowed me to quickly pack some weight.
