Welcome to MuscleChemistry brutha! So how did a board certified neurosurgeon wind up here?
Well, another surgeon friend of mine who supplements made me aware of all the other options available and I started reading about everything and came across your site (which I think is the most informative and real I've come across). Your board has better information than most medical texts I've read. I look forward to learning more.

FOCUSED1974 - really enjoy reading about your experience and makes the whole experience real.

Thanks Brainman6! You might be 100% right! The pain is only on the outer part of right
Thigh... & a patch on front...

It doesn't shoot to the knee though...or hurt in back ...
Or hamstring...foot etc...

I will be going later this month I think 24 to see if I can get released to lift
With my arm @ check out MRI & ray on back..,

Once I know exact discs & what I am doing will update etc!!

I also am following your advice until then!!!
Thank You!!!! Thank You!!!

Hope you are well!!!

I have been able to overcome a ton of obstacles
because I have been very positive... I know it sounds silly...
But depression or a negative attitude hurts more than anything..

One thing I would suggest for you... With the IGF.... With your low energy

CQ10. But first test yourself for it. It can help regulate
Your energy, vibrance, positive attitude etc, which will everything
else you do but no averse reaction.

I am a big believer less is more. So I prefer to use only IGF if possible.
Sometimes I do add something if only necessary or body missing it.

It also has helped me not plateu on it.

Anyway those are just my thoughts! Have a great week!

Welcome to MC!! Very nice to hear those good words about the site. I found it very encouraging to read an extremely knowledgable person of the medical community say that There is better information than most medical texts he's read.
Wonderful news

I agree Austin311! It's pretty cool!

So have you ever come off IGF-1 since you began in August or have you been on the entire time while continually seeing results? I keep on hearing about how you de-sensitize your body to IGF-1 (at least with the LR3 variant) after just a few weeks, but around here it seems like many run it throughout entire AAS cycles.

FooKit! That's a great question!

I was religiously doing it till my tendon surgery on Oct 26. From that day on, I have been sparadic & have been off
For a few days to a few weeks due to my travel schedule. I was off once from day before thanksgiving to dec 9.
Then jan 6-12. Then early nov 14 for 5 days.

I am back on it this week. So I have had some time off only because I am scared to transport it with me. Otherwise I
Wouldn't stop. I also have not gone above 50mcg.

I also only do 5 days a week.

I would prefer to be on it year round unless I start do feel that I am not improving. It's helped stay decent even though I can't workout.

Cleared To Workout all Muscle Groups But bicep

All right I am cleared to do any & all workout but biceps. I will start
Monday eating right again, training, & consist on IGF.

I have gained 20 lbs & not muscle. I will say thanks to IGF or
I would have been worse. No doubt!

The Surgeon
wants me to stick to 20-25 reps.

I am planning on only using IGF. Anyone think I should
add anything like equipoise, Tren, winny with it?

Or anything from the new supplement store?

i would stick to the igf and maybe some testosterone, and wouldn't add any other anabolics until i was a good 2-3 weeks into training again, maybe even a month. Then I would probably add the other stuff.
Good to hear your cleared to get back into things!

Great News focused1974!!! One Step at a time....After my neck surgery I came back to the gym over and over going too hard too soon and always put myself out due to injury.....It took 2 years of that shit to figure out what I did this last time......Slow and Steady....

Now 2 years later I'm still in the gym 5 days a week!!!

Okay not great.

how ya making out brutha? hope all is well with you

I would say okay. Not great. I am traveling a lot consulting & it's sparadic & picking up often so working out, eating right, dealing with my disc pain, and staying consistent on IGF has been a challenge.

My arm feels better. Still some pain, but progressing & once I am able to loose some of the weight gain I added my disc I think will feel better.

I guess my problem is "me". I am not 100% focused part is my fault, part isn't. I am also being careful because I don't
want to tear tendon again or be laid up because of my disc.

I have to balance reality from being lazy.

When I started back I was in the gym 100% for a week, then we had 15 inches of snow & honestly I slept in all week
I did eat good though. Now I am in Arizona on business so I am doing something but without IGF. Didn't want to risk it on plane.

I am only taking that though.
