Epithalon and Pinealon

What are they?

What do they do?

Epitalon and Pinealon are both Khavinson-class peptide bioregulators. They were developed decades ago in Russia, and unlike some peptides, they have an abundance of human evidence, although this is not widely available in the west. They target the pineal gland from two distinct angles, and together they are the most targeted circadian restoration stack available.

Epitalon (AEDG) is a tetrapeptide

It selectively targets aged pineal cells and reactivates the machinery responsible for your body's own melatonin production. It upregulates AANAT, the rate-limiting enzyme for melatonin synthesis, and pCREB, a transcription factor essential for circadian gene signaling. What's that mean? Said simply, it gets your pineal gland making melatonin again.

Not everyone gets the same effects from it, but those who do report a restoration of feeling sleepy, falling asleep, and staying asleep -Sleep onset sharpens

Pinealon (EDR) is a tripeptide

Glu-Asp-Arg, which complements Epitalon by targeting cortical neuronal resilience.

Pinealon crosses the blood-brain barrier, enters cells directly, and interacts with DNA to modulate gene expression tied to neuroprotection, serotonin synthesis, and oxidative stress reduction.

It downregulates caspase-3 (a driver of neuronal cell death), reduces ROS accumulation, and supports 5-tryptophan hydroxylase, the enzyme responsible for serotonin production, melatonin's direct precursor.

Typical protocols run 1–3 mg daily for 20–30 days, dosed usually in the morning, with 1–3 months off before reassessment.

The logic of the stack seems simple

Epithalon restores circadian timing in the pineal gland itself. Pinealon fortifies the neural environment and flow between the pineal gland and the brain.

Pinealon tends to be the one that practically everyone notices benefits from.

Epithalon is more hit/miss; if you already have good sleep, you don't need it.
