He was always the "hometown" boy for me as a child being from Maryland and he certainly has one of the best careers of all time as far as total wins go and I do think he was robbed on the O, but nonetheless, I don't think you can take anything away from him. I know winning the O proves you're the best, but winning 22 shows (I think that's accurate) is impressive no matter what shows they were

To me how small his waste is makes him look the best. Another reason I have always liked Frank Zane though Zane was nowhere near the size of Yates, Colman ect.

yea i saw it in a recent video , he was taking those pics only during his contest preps. and he didn't intend to publish it for the public , also he said the black and white thing came by coincidence as he didn't like the pics that much in color and he asked the photographer to try to change it to black and white and he found it's looks much better, same story with his black and white dvd blood and guts.

Yeah tge story I was told was Chris Lund from Flex magazine went over to Dina photo shoot with him leading up to the O and when he got there Chris couldn't believe what he saw so he snapped a few to show Joe Weider as soon as he got back. Like you said they were never intended for publication, no lighting, no tan or anything.

Funny story. When these first came out, I was crazy with wanting them framed so I just called the magazine and they gave me Chris Lunds personal number. I called him (thick accent) and he took them so he owned the rights to them. He said that he was still deciding what to do. It took a long time before they were available. Years actually. We chatted for a while and he was nice. Id personally be pissed if a magazine was giving out my personal phone number but he was nice about it.
