I was just on turbo tax and started my taxes based on my last paychecks of the year. I'm not going to finalize anything until I get my W2, but what a joke. According to what I have so far I'm getting around half of my federal taxes back. That's a crock of shit if you ask me. And I don't even want to talk about the state taxes. I really wonder why I even work sometimes

You know what they say, work harder every day because so many people are depending on you lol. Basically the more you work the more taxes they take out to support the lazy fat asses who sit at home everyday and draw a fucking check.

I'm surprised we haven't heard of massive IRS tax fraud issues. The economy is still in the shitter and by many accounts getting worse. People are still losing their homes and everything they have worked for. If it was me in that position I would check the tax exempt box on my W2 for an instant 30% raise. Fuck them. If 10% of the population did it, there would be nothing they could do.
Someone has to pay for the Obamacare mess and remember that the Govt does not produce anything of value... All of it resources come from our pockets... Just take solace in knowing that the fat millionaires who are paid 6 figures, exempt from Obamacare, and given fat pensions are living the American dream from the sweat off of your back all for providing their opinion in Congress, Senate, House, etc...

Don't get me started about taxes. In california here are the rates

39.3% to Obama
13.3 % to Jerry Brown

then there's
10% sales tax on everything else but food, food is not taxed
