Gear and actors.

I was just wondering about the general concensus of you guys on whether lots of actors get on gear for action roles. I noticed a while back that Ryan Reynolds was shredded and not big but way bigger in Blade. I watched 300 for the first time and noticed the guy from Lord of the Rings and Van Helsing was ripped to the bone too. He was the one eyed general. I am assuming they all run gear to get like that especially since ryan reynolds is a shriveled terd except in movies. Xmen Wolverine would be a good example. Just wondering what you think.

I'm pretty sure a lot of actors have run gear, hgh etc....but something else we must remember they're paying top dollar for trainers, have personal chefs and can get optimal rest, diet, etc and have an endless supply of money/resources to accomplish their physiques.....gear is just one part of the equation.....

to have that kind of money and to have the friends they make/have getting anytype of drug shouldnt be a problem.

Thats kinda what I figured. I know they have money to get anything they want. I mean if we had that kind of money, time, etc maybe we could all look like NUK. I saw an interview with ryan reynolds and he said he only trained 6 months for Blade Trinity and said the key was a really strict diet. Yeah right.

Then again You always have the obvous ones such as Big Andrew Byrdnarski(Lattimer from the program)...& 1/2 of all pro wrestling(they're actors)

Most of these guys only workout if they have to for a movie. Hugh Jackman stays in pretty decent shape in all his movies. Probably just got serious and turned it up a notch for XMen. But I agree with most of you. Just like B2S?? said I think in the athletes thread, if millions ride on performance, for their sake it is looks.

a lot of that shit is airbrushed too. Makeup artists do A LOT of work on actors and actresses to get them to look the way they do. If you have a tiny bit of abs showing, and you add shadows in the right areas, digitally or physically with make-up, it makes a huge difference

hell yeah... i think of this all the time. Specially when like "the rock" looks smaller now than when he did his scorpion king movie. or van diesel, and the biggest one of all... Stallone!! haa haa... everyone said how good he looked in the last rocky... I thought he looked good for like 80, but seriously... but he's no albert beckles!!

I honestly don't see why they wouldn't. They have the funds, the access, and their paycheck depends on them looking a certain way. The one that sticks out in my mind is Reynolds and Stallone. And Dino sucks balls...BamBam all the way baby!!!!
