gear freeze

hmm, im not sure about this one, i know you can heat up the oil to a high degree without altering the hormone EX: putting it in a microwave, but im not sure about freezing, Ive never had that problem and its about 0 degrees at night by me at the moment! I know your supposed to keep gear at about room temp. i would talk to a chemist and ask if the molecules mutate when the reach or drop to a certain degree. I know temperature effects the shape of proteins but im not sure about hormones, im not that far in my sciences yet! Sorry bud.

BUMP

agreed. Just out of curiousity, can you see where the compound droppedout of solution before it froze?

There is no risk when a steroidal molecule is exposed to low temperatures. Unlike exposing them to very high temps where they can decompose.
The reason you should keep gear at room temp is to prevent the active ingredient
from precipitating (ie: crashing out of soln.)

Actually cooling down a compound can slow its decomposition rate! (in most cases)
