Ok, so I was wondering... When you draw and shoot, there's about .05ml left in the pin, maybe .06. That adds up. What do you do about it? Just say screw it? Every other dose, you're out .1ml, and at 10 doses, that's .5ml wasted. Can I pull a preload of BA water first, or does it not work like with the IGF?

You can leave a small air bubble in the top of the syringe and then the air will push out the rest of the gear. Injecting the air wont hurt you. Ive tried it but when i hit glutes the needle is basically level so the bubble wont stay in the top of the syringe so i just lose a little each time :(.

I'll give that a shot... no pun intended. ;)

Nurses use this technique all the time. Just saw it a few days ago when my wife had her toradol shot. The nurse had left a small airspace in the syringe, and then she shot the whole thing in.

I suppose I should stop being so scared of it and do it myself with my gear/HRT.

Yeah its been used for years. Alot of people shy away from it because air = panic with most people, in actuality it takes at least 5cc's of air injected directly into a vein to ''possibly'' cause problems. Although people have had 15 and 20cc's injected on accident from not priming iv bags and have been fine. So realistically even if you were in a vein that amount of air would be no problem and the gear would be more to worry about.

i usually just leave alittle air in...
then when i flip it the bubble travels up and i stop injecting as soon as i hear the air clear the pin

What you do is save all of your syringes for 3 maybe 4 years and then using a 25g needle carefully draw out the excess from everyone of them. Who knows.... you could get an extra 200mg every 4 years for free!!! LOL

You should write a book... you're a walking encyclopedia. Hell, you're better than wikipedia!! lol

Yep, I used to use the air bubble trick all the time. I mentioned several months ago...It creates a vacuum when you aspirate and literally sucks every last drop into your muscle. Use about .1-.2ml/cc of air or 1 tic on a 3ml syringe. Air bubbles in muscles are fine...Docs and Nurses do this all the time.
