Good way to target the teardrops.

Try this to really hit the teardrops on your legs.

Use the legpress and position your feet lower than normal and anly hip width wide. You wont have great range of motion but you should really feel it in the teardrops.
 
I need to buy a leg press. Now that I have a smith machine I need a leg press and some type of good cable station. Good advice I have done this very thing. I do squats like that to some extent and get a good pump in the tear drops.
 
I do these all the time...the last time Sarah I train quads the other day we did this routine...

Leg press 4 sets x 15 reps (feet low) 15 reps (feet high) 30 reps total
Lunges on smythe machine 3 x 15 reps each legs
abductors 3 sets x 20 reps
leg extensions 3 sets x 15-20 reps (last set drop set)

then calfs (seated calf raises/standing calf raises) 3 sets each x 20-25 reps
