Grrrrrr... I hate the post office

So I place an order with PSL, they ship, and I'm looking forward to getting my package. I wait and wait and check the mailbox everyday as soon as I get home from work. Finally, a slip in my box, saying they won't deliver without a signature because it's registered mail, on July 9th. I was disappointed, but figured oh well, what's another day. So I sign the slip, put it back in my mailbox, and get excited again. So the next day I goto the mailbox expecting my package, and nothing but more mail, stacked ON TOP of the signed slip! WTF! So I was pissed. I repositioned the slip in the mailbox and left. The next day it was gone. So, everyday I run to the mailbox, and still nothing. So Monday the 13th, I call them and get that stupid automated bullshit system. After 25 minutes of being on the phone, I finally got it rescheduled for delivery for yesterday. Yesterday I get to the mailbox and nothing but another slip! Just like the one I signed last week and stated to leave it in the mailbox. Along with that was a note saying they couldn't deliver per my request because there want a signature slip left for them! Are you kidding me? They already took it and never delivered my shit! Anyways, my girl is going to try to goto the post office to pick it up today, 6 days later. What sucks even more, is I have another package on the way from PSL and in going to have to do this all over again in a week or two. USPS, you suck! Grrrrrr

Yeah the mail sucks..I had sent info to a buddy and did delivery confirmation on it, it shows nothing for 5 days then I get a response from who I sent it to and they received it sent my order and after 7 days it was updated on the usps website showing it was delivered..wth?

Don't get the wrong idea here it was a E-bay order for private person..but still. I hate the post office too

​Ugh I had the same thing happen to me many times. I eventually just got myself a PO box and picked up my mail early saturday before the PO closed.

You do...you sign upon pick-up. It will sit at the PO until you come sign for it. But they are usually open until around noon on saturdays, so you can grab it then if you can't get there during the week before it closes.

mall the way to Texas when I was tracking it.
I dident think I would get it. (gear).
And 1week later it shows up.

One bad thing about living in a small town. Sad thing is I'm not the only one that has complained. Someone even has the post lady on video driving past a mail box, forgetting to put the mail in the box and instead of backing up, she just throws the mail out of the window onto the ground. THIS IS NO BULLSHIT!

One bad thing about living in a small town. Sad thing is I'm not the only one that has complained. Someone even has the post lady on video driving past a mail box, forgetting to put the mail in the box and instead of backing up, she just throws the mail out of the window onto the ground. I've found a UPS Store box to be the best. They sign for packages, and you have a regular street address. Depending on the size/configuration of the store, you can access your box even after hours.

this is true i grew up in a small town i had a po box or two back then and the post master would call me when i had a big pack

Once I had ordered a new computer cable. The PO ran over the box with a forklift and flattened the metal end. It was completely useless. They had the nerve to put it in a plastic bag with a note on it saying "sorry for the damage", and delivered it to me. When I went in and showed it to them they said there was no way they could be sure that they caused the damage and refused to pay for it. I have had other boxes damaged by the PO including some "gear" I got from overseas. I was lucky it got through.

Last yr I sent an air ionizer back to California from the gym for repairs, (these are the units that neutralize yr stinky arm pit odors LOL, anyway I get a call from the company stating that the unit arrived in about 100 pieces, thanks to USPS

I am texting with a friend right now, and the usps lost 4 packages of hers yesterday. The tracking number shows delivered, but she never got them. She went to her mailbox, and she had a key for the parcel box, and the package in there wasn't hers. So they apparently gave her somebody else's package, which means they lost anther persons package too.
