so who go's for the newest gym gear..new nike trainers or the latest micro fibre sweat top to keep u dry even on those most energetic work outs..
i ask because im the guy with the 10 year old back belt and have been known to go the gym in steel toe cap work boots shorts and a top..i realy dont give a fuck what i look like when i go.the thing is ive been going to this new gym the past year or 2..and i cant help my self but look around and see all the guys a gals looking there best..and look down at see me in my boots..lol..
my wife go's to a posh girly gym and has 3 pairs of trainers this year allready..

I hate shopping so no I don't have the latest and greatest. I do try to look cute, but I'm not out of hand like some girls. I'm good to go as long as my clothes are clean and I would say match, but I wear a lot of black and everything matches black.

Sweat pants a t-shirt and my hat for me and I have two pairs of gym shoes that are NOT new... I wear black or grey damn near every time I go so no new fun fad things for me. I don't wear gloves wraps straps or own a belt... I don't wear fancy colors... I would not wear boots and jeans though I have worn dress shoes a time or too and begged the owner to let me workout in my sandals once cause I forgot my shoes. Most people at my gym probably think I am poor and have few items to choose from cause I am that "simple" with what I wear to the gym and wear the same crap pretty regularly. Pretty much I just try not to show up already smelling like funk.

no underarmour stretchy shirts for me either... I do not like feeling like I have just been swallowed by a snake.

I know I'm going to get blasted for this, but I match my beanie to my shirts. I have a bunch of Under Armour beanies that I'll wear. I have black/grey, black/white, navy/white, royal/white, but nothing for red so I resort to wearing black and white shorts with the black/white beanie. I can't help it, I've gotta match in some way lol

I remember being told I couldnt workout in flip flops one day I was so mad. I don't care much on what I wear to the gym but I do have a underarmour snakeskin shirt that I do wear at times on chest day because I think it makes me look bigger. my gf buys all kinds of shorts and shoes but none of that shit matches lol

It does't matter to me since my gym is at my shop lol. But I do love the nike shirts and the loose fit under armor ones. Charliebigspuds as long as those shorts you are talking about wearing with your steel toes aren't cut off jeans you're good to go bro lol

I own the joint and I do dress appropriately once in a while but I wear an old tattered beat up muscle tank that has holes all over it when I train. Its just my signature wear. My manager hates it, not politically correct enough I guess. Boots? When I squat heavy I wear hi topped work boots for support. Really dont care what the lame pencil neck general public thinks. I own a gym not a wellness center
