What is up with people?? This morning my wife and I were doing leg press. Some guy comes in to do calf raises right next to the leg press, and starts grabbing plates off the leg press!! So I said, "I'm going to need all those plates, I'd rather you take them from the eack over there." He looks at me, astonished. Tells me he won't take any more. Well, that doesn't cut it, see, because I'm going to need that one that you just took. So he tells me I can take it..... So let me get this straight: You walk up to a machine two people are actively using and srart helping yourself to the weights on it, without saying a word. Then you'll 'let me' take the plate that you just took without asking???? I couldn't believe it. I never touch a piece of equipment someone else is using without making sure that person is ok with it. Even worse, it's not as if he had to hunt for plates, there were half a dozen on the 'tree' 3 ateps away.....

I hate it when guys stand right in front of dumbbell rack to do sets of thirty with light weights while I have to wait 3 mins to rack my heavy dumbbells. Step the fuck back. Haha

Yea i had the same thing happen to me the other day! not stealing plates but i was doing some ez-bar curls in a curl rack i step away for a few seconds to super set with some over-head tri's not even two feet away and this twiggy little bastard comes over and starts jolting himself back and forth trying to do curls with my weight, i threw my dumbell down and just looked and him with my mind blown then when he finishes his seizure set he looks at me and smirks and said "i just needed one set" i promptly responded with "shouldve used a lighter weight"

he must have taken one look at ya and figured you couldn't possibly lifted one more pound of weight, lmao, i crack myself up! and yeah thats fucked up, and I've seen it happen many times, I've seen people sit at lat pull down reading a fucking book between 15 minute sets, amazing how rude people are

there's always someone doing something stupid, i cant stand when i am fixing to do a press with dumbells and someone hops in the way to do curls or whatever

Thats just jacked up. I think its just common sense in most cases, a lot of the same things that people do like that carries over to the real world. Cutting in line to get ahead of others who are patiently waiting. Walking or standing in front of you when you are obviously involved in a task that requires you to move through the same space. Peoples driving shows a lot of the same ignorance. These types of people are just as clueless outside the gym as inside.
To most people with a shred of common sense you wouldnt take something from someone that is clearly being used.
Assholes like that just simply need a 'talking too' an education of sorts on the spot lol.
