Gyms Pompano Beach FL

Well guys and gals, I will be in Pompano Beach, FL for a weekto do some flight training at the airport there . Can anyone recommend a good gym that's close by and wont break the bank for a week!

I go to the Golds on Commercial since its so close to the Exec airport but they like to nickel and dime me and they didnt want to accept my one week free gym pass because I wasnt local ..Every other Golds gym I went to honored it. lol

I will like to try the relatively new LA Fitness on Andrews Avenue.. or any gyms that are in Pompano will be great too .

If you are a member of a Gold's, you must get a Travel Pass from your gym and any other Gold's will accept it. They are good for 14 days. It is something you have to ask for.

I actually came across the Athletic Factor on Sample Road and it is an amazing Gym in Pompano Beach.. I highly recommend it to anyone who is in that area. The gentleman and his wife who run it, they are fabulous people.

Now, another question, anyone in Winter Haven, Florida ? LOL I am heading back up there to train at the Golds.. Who goes there by chance?

Not sure about the Golds there, but the area is nice. I used to have a condo just south of there. Right outside Lake Wales

Thats cool.... Yeah its a nice area.I been in W.H. all of last year doing my training at the field... Very nice place to fly. I was very impressed with the Golds gym at Winter Haven for such a small town. The Golds in Lakeland is neat too but the one in W.H. is much newer and bigger floor space
