Has anyone ever used a safety squat bar?

I'm debating on whether or not to buy one. Our gym doesn't have one, but a few of us have talked about buying one and splitting the cost just so we have one. I've never used one and was wondering if they are effective or not?

They look weird as well, but I've heard some people say they are nice, but I don't know about them

Yep, when I ruptured my bicep and couldn't squat normal, I used a safety squat bar and really liked it. Honestly I could have used it without holding the handles but i used my good arm and held it for my security I guess. But for anyone with shoulder issues or other injuries the safety squat bar is awesome! You would really like it.

Good to hear it, I've really been thinking about this for a while and there's not too many people that have used one
