a few months ago I strained the top of my forearm doing hammer curls with the 85s.. I still can not do overhand pulldowns or pullups. That grip kills me and its has been at least 3 months
Yep, Both of my forearms are killing me on the top, feels like in the bone and my elbows are both shot right now with chronic pain. Did all this going very heavy on skull crushers. I knew better and I'm paying for it now. :disgust:

I had to stop doing skull crushers because I would get the same thing every time. It was definitely from going too heavy on them. The triceps could handle it, but the forearms couldn't. You have to let it heal and do other exercises instead. IGF speeds up recovery greatly. Now I do skull crushers as more of a finishing exercise and don't go too heavy. I very gradually have been going up in weight on them, and I haven't had a recurrence of the tendonitis since.
