So you take a shot of gear, and it knots up on you and hurts. Im sure we have all had this happen. You know it turns into a large hard lump and hurts. So when this happens, do you still get the benefits of the gear? Does it still get in your blood stream like it should?

I would imagine so. I see no reason you would not. Your body still absorbs it pain or no pain.

Now what I fucking hate is when you take your shot and you pull the needle out and a good amount of oil leaks out. That pisses me off.

use the z track technique

My thought process is this after working in the hospital for several years and discussing abcesses with the doctors.

The thought process with any abcess whether it is caused by IM or natural reasons is that the body signals thousands of cells to literally encircle the infection, or in this case the foreign oil. It does this to protect the rest of the body from the infection spreading, at least the body treats it as an infection since it is foreign, though realistically it might even just be you have 3 cc's of oil in your glute that truly should not be there...according to your bodies chemistry.

So when the wall of cells forms, it then begins attacking the "infection" within. Mind you, it can't possibly stop it all from absorbing into receptors since this massive 3cc oil lot is sitting inside your ass muscle. So as it continually works at protecting the rest of your body and chipping away at this "infection" , you are absorbing some of the T4oo that was made oh so poorly in a Mexican lab..lets use Denkall..1999 :)

So anyways my answer is that if you have an abcess, I personally believe you do not absorb or get anywhere near the desired amount that you injected. On that note, if any of you have ever had a real abcess you truly wont give a shit. I had one once from some BD from Axio years ago, a bad batch...and there are not many things worse then a true abcess, you feel like shit, its scary and you are glad they didn't cut a 2" incision in your IM spot, so you are willing to take the 3cc Denkall loss.

I think distinguishing an abcess to just a knot on your ass is a different story. I get one weekly just from higher dose test 400mg/ml. I literally rub it out and it breaks away like it was a bruise. Now I've seen abscess and that is a whole other story.

And yeah I fucking hate when you pull out and blood just streams out. BUT...........when I was sick earlier this year, almost every time I went in for antibiotic shots it always came out so I'm curious of the medical thought behind this. Going to shoot my brother a text

Z-track method of intramuscular injection is used to administer drug in a large muscle that prevents the leakage of the medication into the layers of subcutaneous tissues. It is named Z-track because after the techniques of this medication administration are implemented a zigzag path is responsible for sealing the drug in the muscles

Good info !!!

I've tried this technique before never had much luck with it...all that ended up happening was the oil would leak out of the muscle and under the skin

now I would have a soft knot that I would have to rub in

all you have to do is push down on the muscle, when you push down it pulls the skin and tissue forward (towards your hand) a bit and when you release the pressure the skin goes back

Yeah there is no way I can do this pinning my shoulders or glutes. I would need a third arm about a foot longer than I have now... LOL
