Anyone else hear have a very high resting heart right? Mine is gettin ridiculus. I will just be sittin around and it will be up to 100 beats per minute. I had to take my adderall for class this morning and I was hangin around studying and it was up to around 115-120.

mines not that high but ive had mine at 90 or so before just chillin. I think correct me if im wrong but ive heard the more weight you gain the faster your heart beats to keep up. That could be inaccurate though.

It wouldnt hurt to check your blood pressure. Do you take in a lot of caffeine or fat burners? A lot of stress can do it to. If it stays like that get it checked out. I worked on a cardiac unit at a hospital for 4 years and can be caused by a lot of things. Just working there made my blood pressure high thats why I changed jobs.

Yea i forgot what it was though. I know it wasnt to high. I know a lot of it has to do with me being on adderall, but I think it still is high when I am not taking it.

It's probably the adderall. Here's what one site had to say about the side effects:

------------------------------
Adderall side effects

Get emergency medical help if you have any of these signs of an allergic reaction: hives; difficulty breathing; swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat.

Stop using Adderall and call your doctor at once if you have any of these serious side effects:

fast, pounding, or uneven heartbeats; feeling light-headed, fainting; increased blood pressure (severe headache, blurred vision, trouble concentrating, chest pain, numbness, seizure); or tremor, restlessness, hallucinations, unusual behavior, or motor tics (muscle twitches).

It is the adderall as you're taking amphetamines to help you concentrate. If you take it often then it can raise your bp and heart rate for longer periods of time. Also anxiety plays a huge role on your heart rate. When I'm having a panic attack my heart rate can jump up to 120 beats per minute. I've had BP readings of 180/110 which is almost stroke / heart attack territory and that was just from anxiety and I may have been on a ECA at the time.

The amphetamines are most likely the culprit or stress/anxiety.

high resting heart rate could also mean you could have strained your heart, and not even know it. have you been doing any powerlifting lately ?

all of a sudden i dont feel so bad. my bp is just 150/83

I would definitely say it is the adderal as well. My resting heart rate is around 55-58 but when I take effexor at night it goes up to around 75. Medication effects all of us differently. If you bp is okay, I would say it sounds like you are okay.
