Obviously I'm disgusted. I haven't seen how much of a hit I'll be taking on my paycheck after all this garbage with the "Fiscal Cliff" deal. Good job. So you raised everyone's taxes, but did nothing to address the outlandish 1.7 trillion dollar deficit... And to top it off they gave themselves RAISES!!! Fucking sick...

yes, but it's barely enough to pay rent and nothing else...if i didn't have a few new people paying for diets and workouts on facebook a month i'd starve...i've been on extensions because of school but at the point where i have to work now and finding work isn't easy...temp jobs make it look like i can't hold a job, when the reality is i'm taking EVERY offer they give me, even if it's only a few days here and there...

Honestly I'm so upset that Silk and I have been making substantial plans and looking over our finances so that we can leave the endentured servitude that now represents our workforce. I'm sick of paying for the generations that have been raised on Government assistance programs. The only solution I see is to no longer work on the books and live a subsistence life style

have you ever seen that show called dual survivor, the one guy with long hairs house is off the grid, he has it built into a hill with solar panels and rainwater collection he has no utility bills. kind of off topic but show that things can be done to reduce your expenses.

Social Security tax went from 4.2 to 6.2%. I feel good about it being as we've been told by countless politicians that Social Security WILL NOT be there when the current 30 and 40 year olds retire...

I haven't seen that one. Silk and I will be buying our first shipping container and generator in the middle of this year. I hope to have the place ready to go with Solar panels and a private well by the middle of next year. No power, no water, and no sanitation dependency. Pretty close to off grid pretty quick.
The shipping container or containers... will serve as shelter until we start busing the house at which time the shipping containers will go underground

oh now they are doing everything in your best interest...

raised your taxes

-increased the debt roof from 16.4 trillion to 20 trillion

-did nothing in terms to cut their spending

-gave themselves raises

-before this IMPORTANT BILL was signed Obama had to go on vacation

the latest is now that the country is so far in debt, the pukes are talking about tapping into both private and gov. pensions to pay the bills

now, they are just going to borrow the money and promise to put it back just like they did the federal reserve and social security

so they promise it will be there if you retire just like social security

I looked at my paycheck stub yesterday- it went down by $58 bucks...
$58 x 52= $3016 for the year.
That is money for a really nice cycle.....

Yeah that sucks, I think my wife is out $1,100 a year just from the Social Security Alone Going back up to 6% as she is in just below 60k brackets and they voted to SKIP a step in terms of Payment increments this year, not sure how they can get away with that but they did!, and GOD only knows what im out , as I file as a small business and im sure I will get hit hard! Pretty sure they also extended the Unemployment benefits for another extra year as well.

CNN said they cant print the money fast enough,lol, which ofcourse kills our dollar! Also I noticed EVERYTHING UNDER THE SUN IS GOING UP! Bridge tolls are going up A LOT as well, Employment Pay is not anywhere near the rate of Inflation, its sad

It was completely misleading.
The middle class is going to bear the brunt of the taxes increasing. Meat and produce will go up as well due to the drought last year.

I had no idea it would be that much money...

It makes sense that they go for pensions next. They bankrupted Social Security so they'll move on to any Government accounts that they can get their hands on. One very large problem with that when/if they decide to move forward on that idea you will see a mass exodus of Law Enforcement Officers from Government employment.
That's a great idea. Take the guns from citizens, throw everyone into poverty, and then effectively disband Law Enforcement.

btw had interview today for NFI logistics csr/inventory/warehouse specialist...interview went well...keeping fingers crossed...making decision by end of monday they said!!!

got home and got a call for drug screen and orientation (prior to first interview so they like my resume obviously) for monday at 3pm for John Deere...
