I went to the doctor last week and had some bloodwork done...today I finally got my results and NO surprise to me it turns out that my test levels are low.

The report says I'm at 269, which according to the doc is on the low end for my age range (which was 25-40 and I'm going on 29). The data showed the average test levels between 220 and 840.

So I am going on a low dose of HRT with 10mg of test a day...I know it's extremely low but with my physical condition getting worse by the day I am hoping that even this low dose helps. And if not I am hoping he will work with me on the dose if need be, which I believe he will.

I have been off AAS for a few years now and didn't start noticing any test problems until about a year and a half ago or so. So I'm not quite certain how that affects anything but my bodyfat has skyrocketed, energy has been tapering daily it seems, but on the upside my mental and emotional levels have been positive. But they always have been...I mention that because of some of the depression issues associated with low test. I have my depressed moments but they usually don't last too awful long.

Also I used to have horrible bouts with alcoholism. To a point beyond belief, really. But that is in the past even though I still fight with it sometimes, which leads me to believe that maybe the depression issue is a bit worse than I think, I don't know. Regardless I know deep down that the liquor plays a huge part in this, even if I hardly touch the stuff anymore.

My stats: 5'11", 260 lbs., BF% unknown but very high. I'm agile for my size and recently started a semi-stable cardio routine. It's hard for me to run so I sprint/walk/sprint about 15-20 mins every morning before work and throw in crunches and push-ups when my schedule allows. Due to my size I am fairly limited but it still takes a lot to get me winded. I am trying to take it slow and watch my heart with all the BF. At least I found my cholesterol is perfect. My diet isn't the best but I stay away from major evils such as fast food. Any candy is also forbidden, of course.

Anyway I know it's a long post but I just wanted to get some feedback from anyone willing to give some insight or thoughts of any kind. I've been coming to MC off and on for years and it's the only place I trust, I just don't have the chance to jump online as much as I used to.

You have to walk before you run......Dont be discouraged.

Motivate yourself with a log book and every week try to do better than the last. You can only get better if you keep challenging yourself.

If you walk 10 minutes one day the next day try to do atleast 10 minutes 30 seconds.....What im saying is the smallest goals add up over time into great achievements.

10mg daily HRT is enough to keep you in a muscle retaining and /or building state which with calorie restriction should make it easier to shed fat.

Be your own badass. Challenge you. and keep talking to us about your progress, diet or anything you wanna talk about.

The first words in the book " The road less traveled" are "LIFE IS HARD" when you accept that life is hard is the only time you can have a god life.

Your struggles help build your character and contribute to your wisdom.

Good luck bro.

Thanks Cyphon, that is exactly the kind of inspiration I am looking for. I'm on the track...and I'm working my ass off to stay on it.

I know the rules it's just staying true to them that can be the hard part. But I love the challenge. I'll be much better than I was before.
