I broke a bar today...

Was doing deep bucket squats into shoulder pressed today in the gym with Bumper plates (rubber bumpers) 275lbs, and I dropped the bar like you are supposed to do on these, and the Collars actually cracked and shattered...Look about 2 inches to the right of the plate (the picture is small) and if you look close that is the collar that shattered, it is actually separate from the other piece of the collar, and you can see the thinner portion of the bar underneath,

Do bars have warranties?? Does anyone know?? I have never seen anything like this...

The gym owner doesn't want me to pay for it, but I think the company should...any thoughts???

That is crazy Bro.. I don't think you or. The owner should have to buy a new one. The company should back there product and replace it ..
