In his pro debut after nearly three years away from the stage, Southern Californian Stan McQuay won the 2009 Jacksonville Pro 202 and will be in the Olympia 202 Showdown on September 26. Successful in business as well as bodybuilding, he talks about the importance of goals and let’s us know how he’s hitting his targets in his triceps workouts.

MCQUAY ON SCORING GOALS

“Setting goals in bodybuilding is very similar to the way I set goals in my everyday life. First, the goal must be a challenge, something to keep reaching for. Second, though they’re a challenge, they must be realistic and obtainable. Finally, I keep in mind that many of the objectives in bodybuilding are long-term and require patience. Rome wasn’t built in a day, and neither is a body.”

Lying tricep extensions kill my elbows, I've stayed away from them for a while now, but might get back into them to try something different
