Increasing Bench Press

Hi! I'm 16, 5,10 270LB.Today in the weight room someone told me that negatives make your benchpress or any core lift go up. Is this true? And if so how would i add it into my 3 set 5 reps benchpress workout. My max is 265ish now :p I want to get up to aleast 315LB and maybe 405LB (150% of my weight later on.)
 
If this is helpful here are my maxes so far.

Max Goal
Bench Press -=O------O=- 265LB 405LB

Squat -(((()-------())))- 475LB 585LB

Box Squat -((((()-------())))))- 535LB 635LB

DeadLift -(((()-------())))- 405LB 495LB

Power Clean --())-----())-- 175LB 265LB

yea I know the goals are outrageous but I figure I'll reach them by senior year. (it's all in my genetics)
 
those goals are not outrageous at all bro, and yes negatives will help you out alot, how to in****erate them into ur regimen is entirly up to you though bro

I use to powerlift before bodybuilding and we use to do alot of single reps heavy, one guy would stand behind you and lift the weight with you back up but you slowly drop the weight urself on the way down, and yes it works very well, however after time it takes its toll on ur joints or atleast it did mine and most of the gys i did this with years ago so be sure to take some type of joint fuel or something,
