Though I'm not familiar with that particular artical, if I remember correctly from my Hospital Corpsman (HM) manuals, that figure is in regard to IV administration. When it comes to IM, air is quite harmless. Really.
BTW, the genius who said that a half ML via IV would have killed you is plain wrong. This is precisely how bad information is spread. Dumb shits regurgitate BS they hear from other dumb shits.

I dont hate you I just think u shouldnt have a strong opinion on something u dont have experiience with, Like air in veins or arteries.
