Does the internet expose bodybuilding to much? Like "to much of a good thing is bad". Or has it helped it grow or did nothing for it?

I think it can be good and bad. There is a lot of bad info out there where people can draw stereotypical judgements about body builders overall. But then you also have the power of being able to get yourself out there and can really be used as a marketing platform as you try and make a national name for ourself in the NPC. Especially since it is so political anything you can do to be known probably helps.

i think alot of it is good because if you research you can save years learning how to do thing right, but i missed the mystique of the sport that was present before the internet. You used to have to wait until the gym posted who won the olympia, or wait for a magazine.

I used to seem like Dorian used to go to his hole in the wall then emerge to win the olympia and then return. People didnt have a constant way of knowing what was going on.

the internet also allows you to see how big of dicks some of these people can be and who out there are actually genuine.

Yeah I think it's done a lot of good for sure. The educational info prevents a lot of mistakes and side effects that were common in the early 90's

I think its all positive... as long as you find good resources. There's alot of garbage, but with some effort you can find answers to any questions you have.

i haven't really learned much more from the internet that i didn't already know a little of...i think the net is bad because i'm on it way too much...

what i'm saying is that stuff we here from friends that are high ranking or pros is the same stuff i see on the net...yes i've learned alot, but alot of what i've realized i've learned, i've also already known from things i've picked up over the years...the net reiterates alot of my knowledge i guess i'm saying

All the info is good

All the info is also bad

I have come across so many people that have what I call "INFORMATION OVERLOAD DISEASE"...... THESE ARE THE PEOPLE ALWAYS HOPPING ON THE NEXT NEW IDEA OR FAD AND NEVER GET ANYWHERE:tread:

I think it's been good for the exposure, but at the same time it makes every guy that goes to the gym think they could win a show. I'm sure the entries have shot up, but IMO it waters down some shows

Great point brutha! Not to mention if you go to 5 different boards, you'll likely get 5 different answers to the same question! You just have to know who your listening to and make sure they know what the fuck they are talking about, which isnt always easy to know or find out unless your a regular of said board.
