is there a difference b/w an amp and a vial

i know this may sound like a stupid question, but is there a difference between an amp and a vial. ive been reading some posts/sites on how to do a glute injection and they all talk about breaking the top of the amp, but with QV products it looks like its just a flip top, and underneath is the rubber stop. it doesnt look like there is anything to break.

there are exceptions like organon dec comes in a 2ml vial.. which is also one use..
But most others contain 10mls or more whereas an amp usually contains 1 ml

AND, that second vial contains a pretty painful substance which is why you should only take it if you're a neopolitan mastiff.....lol
