Is there a downside to converting my fina early

I have my pellets and kit but won't be starting the fina for 6-8 weeks. Would it be bad to convert it now? I can't see it losing poetency, but if anyone thinks it will break down in liquid solution faster than in pellet form please let me know.,,,thanks,,,bigjosh

Yep, Chemical is right, about a 2 year self life.

it gets cloudy over time but still works the same.
