jay is too young to retire from his age, he will only retire because of his injuries thus causing him to fall from 1st place, he wont compete once he knows he can compete competitively anymore, but i dont think this will still be for a few years atleast.

Yates retired at 36 and did so after injuries became too bothersome. Haney retired out of fear of Dorian. I think Jay may do the same thing with Phill coming up - I just don't see Jay coming in any better than he did. Phill's the next O, no question about it.

nair is right.... jay may be able to come in harder and drier.... but i dunno how much more size he can put on without the possibility of inbalance. his waist is already huge ya know.

and phil is a force to be reckoned with man... its only a matter of time till he matures and that muscle becomes dense grainy. Jay should call its quits and do what he does best for the sport, remain the icon everyone looks up to an leave on a winning note

I agree, I know he'd probably love to get 5 titles, but really I don't see it happening. Phil is coming to get his and Kai could've won if he came in "on" so I'd recommend Jay leave while he's on top and just stay around and promote bodybuilding, he's an icon like you say so he won't tarnish his rep by leaving.

I agree. I'd much rather go out on top than stay around and lose the crown. But, Jay must not think he will lose it.
