Jefferson Lift?

I'm sure some of you must read MD, but for those that don't they had an interview with Kai Greene on his leg training. He talked about doing "Jefferson Lifts" for hams. It's something I've never seen before. Has anyone ever tried this? What do you think of it? It looks awkward as hell, but he claims it takes the back out of it.

I tried to attach a pic of the lift, but it didn't work for some reason. After I try to upload the pic I get a new page that says "invalid post specified". Can anyone help me out?

One of my old trainers had us doing sumos and I got a bad groin injury set me back 2 mos. Don't know if the jefferson lift is the same thing???
 
Yes, it is sort of like squatting like a sumo. The barbell is between your legs. I'll post a pic.
 
Thanks Saudades. That's what it looked like in the magazine, but I was unable to post the pic. I tried it the other day and I decided it's not for me, way to awkward.

lol. if you got short arms and long legs your balls sure would hurt doing that. Unless your on a big cycle and your balls are on vacation.
 
According to Kai Greene he says it takes the back out of it since you don't have to hold the bar out in front of you like on normal stiff leg deadlifts. I sometimes think these guys with superior genetics latch on to some kind of goofy routine, exercise or training method to explain their phenomenol development, when it would be closer to the truth to say that they grow in spite of the strange stuff they do, not because of it.
