I was just sitting here watching Dianne Sawyer's tribute to John Ritter, and I realized what we had lost with the passing of this incredible man.....
It's almost like I grew up with him...the very first TV show I remember watching and actually enjoying was Three's Company.
I dunno, with all the fucking drama associated with most of Hollywood's actors/actresses, you never heard one cross comment about him. He didn't leave his wife for a younger one, he didn't cheat on her, he didn't demand more money "or else"....just a genuinely good guy. No alcohol addiction. No drug addiction. What a trajedy this was...
Makes me really question the "higher power" and this whole cosmic plan that we're supposedly part of. It's funny. When something good happens the "higher power" had his hand in it, but when a trajedy strikes it's the "higher power's" will - in other words, out of his hands. Where's the understanding in that? Where's the sense in it? Why, with the Osama Bin Laden's and Saddam Hussein's do we have to have a man who touched so many lives taken by some bullshit heart problem? Why not them? They have robbed and raped and killed MILLIONS and yet they'll probably live to be 150 years old....
Not looking for answers, I don't think there are any definitively...
Just sad, that's all...
