last meal b4 bed during a cutter

Elmo, you don't need to worry about restricting your sodium intake too much when cutting its really only during the final week of a contest diet that this is important. If you are ating clean you won't be taking in huge quantities of sodium anyway and if you are financially stretched then tuna is a good idea. (I hate the stuff after eating it for a year when I was a student). Sodium is seen as such a bad thing by bodybuilders but it is needed in moderation.
 
Agreed Sodium is important for muscle growth, i believe it's something to do with creatine storage but i can't quite remember right now.
 
ok, so this is what I did last night. I ate a small package of tuna, 1tbsp of hemp oil and 10g glutamine. Then at 4:27am I ate a small can of tuna and one leaf of romaine lettuce. Soon as I woke up I took about 6oz of water with 10g of glutamine. I felt a little bloated but Man, I felt like a champ. I ran for 54minutes and felt good. So I guess I am doing something right. Oh and I tried that seran wrap around the midsection. I was sweating like a whore in summer time. good shiet :thumbsup:
 
So what about if you wake up in the middle of the night and you are starving?? That happens to me a lot. What should I eat? Should I eat or just tough it out till morning??
 
YOU EAT BRo!!! If you are bulking eat what ever your heart desires. If you are cutting try high protein,fiber and lowfat. Unless I am wrong maybe someone else to point you towards the right direction.
 
I usually keep a protein shake in the fridge mixed with lots of ice and down it if I get up to the toilet in the middle of the night rather than trying to eat something while half asleep.

This is good and what I do.

My last meal is high protein, no carbs and very minimal fat. If I don't get to my last meal, I just mix a shake with water and leave it on the sink in the bathroom. I get up around 3:00am to piss and then drink it. Not the piss, the shake.

What about in my case? My last 3 meals are at 5pm,7:30pm, and a shake(no carbs) at 10pm. At about 9 my stomach is burning. I suck it up, I was always under the influence that when your stomach hurts from hunger than you need carbs, if you dont give into carbs your body starts running off of sotred fat. Granted those last 3 meals make up about 150gs of protein I dont think any muscle will be burnt. My carb cut off is at 2pm. The days I do cardio is the WORST. SOOO many people at work are like, "Im hungry, Im going to the break room"... I think to myself, you pussy! Have some discipline. Granted right now im trying to cut down to 12% BF.
 
If your still finding your hungry when you've had the shakes in their eat someone like a chicken breast, also if your drinking a blend of protein instead of just whey it'll keep you satisfied longer. As for bulking, when your bulking and you wake up hungry you eat, no matter what time it is, eat, just try to keep the carbs low unless you've got a fast metabolism. I've woken up at 3 am starving before and had a tuna sandwich on flax bread with 2 tins of tuna, lol.
