So, i've learned that while on a low carb diet that fruit can really pop you out of feeling lethargic. But which ones are the best and why?

I understand you want to stay away from high sugar (melons)

what is it then that gives you energy besides sugar???

actually, im finding that most fruit has the same amount of sugar in it. apples, oranges, kiwi, pineapple, melon, .... ruffly in 1 cup, they have about 16 grams.

strawberrys are lower gycemic to

might be a good choice for a carb source

There is nothing else. That is what the body converts fat and muscle to if there are no carbs taken into the body. The problem is that the body's preference goes in the order of carbs, then protein, and then fat. That's why you have to keep such a high amount of protein on keto diets or else your body would just eat all your hard-earned muscle.

one cup of banana =51 grams of carbs, 6 fiber, 28 grams of sugar.

thats almost like having a coke.

well, im learning its how you want to do it. Saudades is right on about the potassium. I haven't seen another fruit with the same amount.

but im going to try to make a new living at 100 grams of carbs per day or less. You also need fiber, you also need energy for workouts, and then some things you cant control, like a cup of 1/2 % milk has 13 grams of carbs.
