Alright so a couple guys on here already know about my problem. Recently had bloodwork done and everything came back fine except my total test level was 287. I'm 23 years old, haven't been on anything in about 5 months and that was ph followed by pct and everything. Well my doc says lets wait 2 months to see if it increases then we'll see an endocrine. I can't say much because I have no health insurance and the work they are doing is free due to a previous serious health condition I had which has nothing to do with my test levels. So anyway I have 2 months and let me say, I notice the sides of a low level. I'm tired, unmotivated and just outright down all the time. I know I sound like a vag but I feel like one too. I plan to take exemestane from researchstop in the mean time to see if it makes a difference. Any suggestions on what else to do? I'd rather not get on HRT because I'm young. Any input and info is appreciated. (oh I blame the low level on not participating on the site lately, my bad)

You could wait it out a bit more, but I don't think it will help. I would actually be trying HCG at this point since many endos use it along with HRT, at leat 250iu every 2-3 days. There's also clomid, but having heard of other people's experiences with it in regards to regaining a healthy testosterone level, I wouldn't go that route. I have to say it is unusual for someone of your age to have to be on HRT, but it does happen. I probably should have been on myself even before that age.

Just bumpin this up for some expd bros. Would taking the aromasin at this point help at all? or am I better off waiting it out till my next blood test? Thanks.

I think some people just dont bounce back. I have a friend in a similar situation. He went on a couple mild cycles and had good pct. But stopped using gear for the last couple years. Now he seems depressed all the time, never has any energy, lost most of his gains- not that you can tell cause he doesnt really work out anymore either.

I told him to go to the doctor. I believe he has low test also. He (like you) doesnt want to spend the rest of his life on hrt. But in his case, Its like the quality of his life is just nothing what it was. If he didnt have the woman in his life he has now, he wouldnt be with us.

I have to ask--why is it so bad to be on HRT IF in fact your body needs it? Do what you have to do. Have a quality life.

I'm not for or against HRT... If I do need it then I'll take it. I just don't have health insurance right now. I would love to feel how I was before when my levels were fine. I just didn't know if taking an aromasin right now would do any good or not.

That response was for others, too, not just you, bro. Aromasin may help, since it will raise test a little bit and stop production of estrogen.

I can answer this- that answer is no it will not help. I tried it.
I am in the same boat as you
I have been needing HRT for some time since I have been using since I was 18 years old- I am 43 now.
It has only been at the end of last year that I had started testing in earnest for low test levels(I originally went for unassociated symptoms for something else).
I had the same issues- tired, low energy - you name it.
I had my test levels tested a few months ago and it was 34. Yes- 34.
After a month on test (I was prescribed Androgel 10g) I went to 3512- yes 3512). 3512 is an unheard of number- almost to stroke levels but I was also on other test items that she was not aware of).
Regardless- I have had health insurance for 27 years and have never used it until now. No way would I be on HRT if I did not have insurance but if you need it you need it.

seriously, you need to wait the two months your doctor said. Also before you would go on HRt with your age you should get clomid 25mg a day for 25 days on 5 off. This will get the testicles working again, it did mine and I am 45.

In my opinion, two months is too long a wait. If levels haven't raised by the end of one month, they aren't going to raise the next month either. This endo is being way too conservative IMO. Clomid is not for everyone. It's a kind of hit and miss, and not all endos will try this kind of therapy. Most of the people I've heard of being on it to get their test levels up were emotional wrecks because clomid is an estrogen. Personally if it were me, I'd find another doctor.
