what exercises does everyone do for lower back?. I've had pain for years. I'm thinking I should, carefully, target this area to strengthen and hopefully improve it. thoughts?
 
With my issues I rarely deadlift anymore. I do very strict weighted hyper extensions. A well developed lower back is crucial.
 
Seated lower back exercises like on a lifestyle fitness model ,some goodmornings but not too heavy..and some type of ab workout to help stabalize the lower back..
 
Even if you don't have access to a reverse hyper machine, you can do them on an incline bench, just put the top of the bench around your hips so that you feet are off the floor slightly and you're lying where you back would typically be in you were to do incline presses and raise your legs up at the hips so that you're contracting your lower back.
