New on this board but I'm curious, ...the estro solubilizer for the syno-H conversion ....NaOH is a stericly uninhibited base....those things cleave any ester VERY fast....Na-tert-butoxide is much more hindered....the bulky methyl groups should prevent cleavage of the ester bond and give you prop instead of TNE. My question is if you want TNE for aquaviron how can you sterilize it....I don't want to suspended in oil....will running it through a whatman filter sterilize it? As far as I know those things are good for UPLC, NMR, GC etc....but they do not sterilize organic samples
