I was reading a story this morning on how he has stayed quiet during the whole Barry Bonds, Alex Rodriguez AS scandal.
The guy is happy, did not sell any one else out, and true that he will not get in the Hall of Fame, but keeps busy and does charity work.

This one quote though did make me think though:
(this was during his testimony to the senate panel in 2005)

Dennis Kucinich (D-Ohio): What can you say right now ... to America's youth with respect to the use of steroids? ... Mr. McGwire.
Mark McGwire: I would say that steroids are wrong, do not take them, it gives you nothing but false hope. That's what I would say.

In my oppinion McGuire,Bonds,Sosa,Clemens,And So on all deserve to be left alone and deserve to make it to Cooperstown. It isnt there fault that eithier the MLB couldnt catch them or that they didnt test till 2004. Thats the MLB problem. O they also need to release the other 103 names of that list that A-rod was on.

Man my dad is friends with an old time white sox pitcher and he was telling my dad how they used Speed "amphetamines" back then.....That was the steroid or performance enhancer for the before steroids hit in the 70's.....The steroid thing and most all bullshit that has come up is just a part of the mass media distraction from the war.

These athletes should not apologize for putting there health at risk to because they want to remain competetive. Steroids brought baseball back to life. Mcquire and sosa really charged up baseball when they went head to head for the home run crown.

Baseball is condeming the people who filled there wallets with mega profits.

Now that olympic swimmer phelps was apologizing for smoking weed.......Good lord havent we goptten over the weed thing? Just tax the shit and the economy will boom once again and people will enjoy life once again.lol
