I think it absolutely depends on the individuals involved and their view of morality. If one believes it is morally wrong or sees it as "something is lacking" or "I must not be good enough" for the other person, it's going to hurt the relationship. I know it's not for eveyone and it's certainly a lifestyle choice that many people disapprove of, but in my experience it has actually brought us closer because of the level and trust and honesty involved. I know that may sound crazy to some of you, but like I said it's not for everyone. If you do decide to go for it, I would recommend NOT involving a friend or even someone you pick up at a bar. Join an adult website like Lifestylelounge.com where you can meet people who are already comfortable with the lifestyle. Then you don't need to worry about the jealousy issue as much, people you find there don't play games and aren't interested in breaking up couples. You won't be able to say the same about someone you meet at a bar or even a friend. What ever you do decide, have fun doing it. I wish you luck.
