LOL. Ok, hmmmmm. Well, how do I put this without going into unecessary detail? <thinking>

Let's just say that honesty is important and it makes me feel like an idiot when I realize that I've been basing my decisions on half-truths. Maybe that means I'm gullible. But still, it makes me feel like shit. Anyone feel me on this one? :confused:
 
Were the lies done out of good intentions? Or were they selfish lies?

You always have to ask yourself that one.

And thats what sucks, it wasnt/isnt a "good intention" type of thing, unfortunately.
 
There is always people out there ready to take advantage of our trust. It's a terrible thing but it's true. It has happened to me time and time again. They are not worth our time and/or the pain they cause us. I'd rather be alone than be fooled. I would distance myself from such people because it means I cannot rely on them or trust them as their attempts to fool me only means that I don't count as a person to them. Very painful decision in some cases but surgery is sometimes necessary for healing. For what it counts, I am sorry you had to experience this. I know how bad it can be.

Cheer up and smile. The New Year is nigh. Time for new strength to pursue old dreams, and, if need be, new resolve for new beginnings. God Bless.
 
i agree with guys here, but I'm still lost as to what propmpted T82 to make this post. Something has happened and I want to know what it was....................

I wasn't totally truthful with her from the start when we started talking...... and I just confessed the total truth to her yesterday..... I am the king of all pricks..... and I feel soooo shitty for not telling the truth from the start..... but there is nothing I can do to make it right.... I think T knows how sorry I am....... :( it's up to her whether sorry is enough or not....

Seriously tho, whatever you did (and it's between the two of you) show that you are sorry if you truly are. I won't preach about how lies always come to the surface. We all do crappy things at one time or another. Learn from your mistakes. Never EVER fool someone through their trust. That's plain nasty. You know you've done wrong - now fix it. Good luck Crank.
