Anyone have any good idea's of what to get moms for mother's day, minus flowers and spa certificate.

Lotto scratch-offs, edible arrangements (though that's pretty much the same as flowers or chocolate), gift set from bath & body works, gift card to a nice restaurant, umm... I'll post more ideas as I think of them. I'm not good with this stuff either!

i ended up 'painting a bedroom' (that she wanted), with the wife (NaughtyCowgirl), .... she loved it.. and it was productive... might not have been perfect from the getgo.. but i'm not a professional painter... regardless, she loved the final product.... and she said it's the best 'present' she could have recieved...... which is great, cuz i'm POOR... ... so ... hope that helps..

thats a real present. Something she wants and not just a generic gift
that the add's tell you to buy. My wife asked me once what I was
getting her for Mothers day and I replyed "your not my mother!!" lol
Pissed her off but it was priceless. (yeah,were still married). I always
do her up through our kids. I am going to start her weekend Fri. nt. by
taking my kids out - giving her the house to herself and setting her up with
some snacks, a new book and the remote control. If that dont get her in a
good mood I dont know what will. lol

The house to herself? Yeah, alone time is pretty sweet but dude... hire a babysitter (do you have parents or in-laws nearby so the kids can spend the night?), take her out to dinner and then bring her home and do everything you want to do to her but never can because the kids are always there!
