Thats how people get started on the Micro Brews - they are big here in Calif.
If you get something that turns out great you could probably market it to a
smaller bar or something (or us -lol) Keep us posted

Hey buddy..this is the first time i read this thread and sorry i didnt jump in sooner. *STERILIZATION* is the key to everything here. I've been homebrewig for years, and now I own my own bar. I'm hoping to actually have my recipes contract brewed in large quantities this summer for the fall. I've also homebrewed mead and sold it at renaissance fairs....it always works better with RAW (not pastuerized, homogenized, whateverelseified) honey, with orange slices and cloves in the bag with the hops. Use a floral hops if you can....

Good advice...yeah I understand about sterilization. I have been using bleach mixed as 1 tbs/gallon of water and letting it sit for 1 hour before I use any of the equipment. I got the honey for my mead from a local beekeeper so it is raw honey, but I didn't put the orange slices, cloves, or raisins in a bag, just in the jug...also I didn't add any hops to this batch, but it is my first mead. I have actually been debating on setting up an all-grain system, but it's a little intimidating. I've only been doing extract brewing, but I threw in some grain seeping with the last batch of wheat beer. I bought the home-brew bible tonight and I will probably try to get into the all grain brewing before the summer...just seems like you have better control over how everything comes out and most of the beer recipes I've seen that have really good reviews come from all-grain. PM me sometime if you get a chance bud, as I would love to talk about this stuff some more with you. Thanks

if i had a home brewing kit i would save lots and lots of money but i would probably also be dead...

maybe the penis pumpkin porter, or IP's IPA. We'll see. I'm about to start my all grain brewing...two more weekends and it's on!!! I'm a little excited about it, hope I don't burn down the house.

My friend has the "Mr. Beer" and he has had some good luck with some batches and not so good luck with others. If you follow the directions exactly you'll end up with a good product othewise if you go off course to make super strong ale it will tate like crap, but will get you toasted. lol.
