Need help with knee problem...

My wife has been a supreme sports woman her whole Life with 10years of tennis and 10years of netball under her belt... But because if the stop start nature of those sports she has developed a knee problem... We have pin pointed the the main problem is due to the fact that the outside of her quad is much stronger that the inside. This causes the knee cap to pull towards the outside of her leg and swell up when ever she does any running etc...

My question is... How do I get her to strengthen the inside on her quad only in order to counter balance this problem..

Any advice would be great. Thanks
 
mmmm....what about really wide squats and presses.

That will work and also short leg presses ( not going all the way down) with knees together and feet together to work the lower quad area next to the knees.
Also electrical stimulation will work very very good
